People get hurt not because of other people but because of the consequences of the decisions they've made.
One-time decisions that may lead to a painful end; the decisions they
wished they've never thought about. And usually, they carry it until
their last breath. The physical telltale sign of a person's pain are their tears. You would cry your heart out for a whole day, but it would usually end in a nice sleep once the fresh wounds heal.
When people hurt you, you usually feel a strong desire to hurt them back. Probably by hitting them or spreading bad things about them that aren't even true just to get even. Worse, some people opt to kill other people, which, for me is the stupidest idea one could even think of. I could not blame them, after all, people are different and everyone has their own problems different from ours. It is how you react to any given situation affects everything.
But even when people are hurting, some still have the courage to utter the words: “I forgive you". Sincere forgiveness and acceptance are one of the best medicines to heal pain. Humans have this certain ability to look for ways to escape the pain. Others would seek for someone to help them, look for a convenient way to get over it or would go the hard way, others ignore it until it leaves them and others start to pray.
To feel pain is a sure sign that you are alive, so they say. To cry out in pain makes you stronger. To live with pain makes you a better person. The more pain you get, the closer you are to God and you must be very glad because God wants you to learn something. No matter how hurt you are, pain has this sweet purpose of letting out your inner child to grow. How you deal with pain makes you who you are and will leave a mark of what you have been to other people when you are gone. How you get away with it will be useful for others who look up to you.
When I get hurt, I sometimes cry regardless if those were worth my tears or not. but after shedding the tears, I usually smile and let out a big sigh. I look up to the sky and say, "Thank You for this opportunity. Now, tell me, what would You want me to learn? ", and then answers would always follow.
