Just for today

When we feel something special for someone, they automatically earn a VIP spot in our life. No questions asked, you know that they're gonna be renting in your heart and in your mind for free. You can't even find yourself complaining, admit it, you love the feeling that this person brings you. You don't understand why but you also don't have to figure it out.

Imagining your future with this person becomes inevitable but the question is, does this person think or feel the same?? Of course all of us deserve requited feelings of like or love but we can't always expect things to go our way, that's why we need to learn how to love unconditionally. You don't need to be old to learn that, it's really easy and another thing that we should always remember is to live one day at a time.

Just For Today, I am really happy that I caught a glimpse of him the first time I entered the office. I was a bit surprised to see him because I thought he'd be absent. Let me just rewind a bit, as I was on my way to work, I kept wishing and praying he'd be present. God is really good to me, he answered my prayer cause the moment I opened the door, there he was standing and I couldn't stop myself from blushing. He looked really lovely today, his hair swept at the right side. Cute.

He looked at me with his smiling eyes, I giggled. I got really excited because I'll be working happily for the next 8 hours knowing that he's there. I kept stealing glances from their table because I just like looking at him, that simple. The longer I look at him, the more he gets handsome. I don't know if it's just my eyes but my friend did say that his look gets better everyday. So I guess my eyes are reliable after all.

Just For Today, I decided to tell him that he makes me happy. Although the weather is gloomy, it could affect a person's mood or even make someone lazy from getting out of bed but I didn't feel that way because even though he told me he'd be absent, my heart believes that he won't be and for the first time, my heart was right because he really wasn't absent. Gloomy day or not, I don't mind... After all, he is my sunshine.

True enough that there are a lot of things that I want in this world that's expensive but then again, no matter how much those things cost, it's nothing compared to knowing him.The kind of connection and closeness that we share is priceless and I'm hoping that we get to keep it until we're old enough to laugh at the naughty stuff we did when we were both young.

Just For Today, He's the one who inspires me.
Just For Today, He's the one reason why I keep writing like this.

Yes, JUST FOR TODAY because I'm not sure who it will be tomorrow. Although I'm sure about one thing though, he's the one I want to cuddle with, hug and kiss... name it. Not just for today but also for tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, the next day after that and so on.. yet, time and opportunity forbids us to do these things, I guess it's fair for me to assume that these things are not meant for us to share with each other.. well, at least.. not yet. *wink
